Ryan Zimmerman of the Washington Nationals was tied for 24th in the MVP voting

28-year old righty swinging 3B Ryan Zimmerman tied for 24th in the N.L. MVP voting with Giancarlo Stanton of the Marlins. Zimmerman played in 145 games for the Nationals last year and he was 163 of 578 (.282 avg, .824 OPS) with 93 runs scored, 25 homers, 95 RBIs and 5 stolen bases. He has now played in 990 games in his first 8 years with the Nationals and he is 1,110 of 3,861 (.287 avg, .832 OPS) with 580 runs scored, 153 homers, 593 RBIs and 30 stolen bases. Zimmerman is a rock in the lineup for the Nationals.
