Randy Wittman did the best he could for the Washington Wizards

Blogged under Bloglockers, Coaching, Front Page, General by alleyoop on Saturday 5 May 2012 at 2:10 pm

52-year old Randy Wittman took over as the interim head coach when Flip Saunders was fired. When Wittman took over, the Wizards were a mess as the were 2-15. Wittman finished up with an 18-31 (36.7%) and he got the Wizards to end the 2011-12 season on a 6-game winning streak. I don’t know if the winning streak will be enough to save his job or not…..only time will tell. Wittman is now 118-238 (33.1%) in his first six years as an NBA head coach and that doesn’t inspire much confidence in him.
