The Washington Wizards have used the amnesty clause to release 25-year old power forward Andray Blatche. Blatche played in only 26 games (13 starts) for the Wizards last year and he averaged 24.1 minutes, 8.5 points, 5.8 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game. He played in 409 games (176 starts) in his seven years with the Wizards and he averaged 22.7 minutes, 9.9 points, 5.4 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game. His immaturity cost him his job with the Wizards. It really says something when the Wizards are going to pay him $23 million bucks to let him leave.
