C/PF Jeff Ruland was a darn good basketball player for the Washington Bullets. His best season came back in 1983-84. He played in 75 games (all starts) for the Bullets in 1983-84 and he averaged 41.1 minutes, 22.2 points, 12.3 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 1.0 blocked shot per game. Ruland played in 303 games (182 starts) in his five years with the Bullets and he averaged 35.3 minutes, 18.7 points, 10.8 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game. He is still #6 in Bullets/Wizards’ history with 1,045 offensive rebounds. He is also #7 in defensive rebounds (2,240) and #9 in total rebounds (3,285) in franchise history.
