The Wizards had a big lead in the first half, but they couldn’t sustain that level of play for 48 minutes and it cost them this game.  John Wall led the way for the Wizards last night with 27 points, 7 rebounds, 14 assists, 1 steal and 1 blocked shot.  Emeka Okafor (18 points, 11 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal and 2 blocked shots), Martell Webster (17 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal) and Nene (15 points, 10 rebounds and 1 assist) also pitched in for the Wizards.  The Wizards are now 20-42 on the season.

Washington Wizards 104, Charlotte Bobcats 87

The Wizards shot 50% from the floor and they out-rebounded the Bobcats 45-32 to surge to an easy home win last night.  Trevor Ariza (26 points and 10 rebounds), Martell Webster (20 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist and 2 steals) and Nene’ (19 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 blocked shots) led the way for the Wizards last night.  John Wall pitched in with 13 points, 2 rebounds, 6 assists, 1 steal and 2 blocked shots.  The Wizards improved to 20-41 on the year.

Brooklyn Nets 95, Washington Wizards 78

The Wizards were down 59-33 at the half, as they never had a chance last night against the Nets.  The Wizards only shot 35.6% from the floor last night, while being out-rebounded 61-44.  John Wall only shot 6 of 19 from the floor, but he still led the way for the Wizards with 16 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals and 1 blocked shot.  Nene’ (11 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 blocked shot), Kevin Seraphin (11 points, 7 rebounds, 1 steal and 1 blocked shot in 23 minutes) and A.J. Price (10 points, 1 rebound, 4 assists and 1 steal in 21 minutes) also pitched in for the Wizards.  The Wizards are now 19-41 on the year.

Minnesota Timberwolves 87, Washington Wizards 82

The Wizards out-rebounded the T-Wolves 44-34, but it didn’t matter much last night.  John Wall (19 points, 3 rebounds, 7 assists, 3 steals and 1 blocked shot) and Trevor Ariza (16 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 1 steal) led the way for the Wizards last night.  Nene’ (12 points, 8 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal and 1 blocked shot), Martell Webster (11 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists) and Emeka Okafor (10 points, 14 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 blocked shot) also pitched in for the Wizards.  The Wizards are now 19-40 on the year.

The Wizards out-rebounded the 76ers 50-42 and they held them to a paltry 38.8% shooting from the floor last night.  Martell Webster (16 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 blocked shot), John Wall (16 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 1 blocked shot) and Nene’ (15 points, 9 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal and 2 blocked shots) led the way for the Wizards last night.  Bradley Beal (14 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 blocked shots) and Emeka Okafor (12 points, 16 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal and 1 blocked shot) also had solid games for the Wizards.  The Wizards are now 19-39 on the year.

New York Knicks 96, Washington Wizards 88

The Wizards were winning 77-73 heading into the fourth quarter last night and then the roof fell in, as the Knicks outscored them 23-11 in the 4th quarter to pull away for good.  Bradley Beal led the way for the Wizards with another outstanding game as he scored 29 points, grabbed 11 rebounds and he dished out 2 assists.  John Wall (16 points, 3 rebounds, 6 assists, 3 steals and 1 blocked shot), Trevor Ariza (15 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 steals) and Emeka Okafor (11 points, 10 rebounds, 1 assist and 2 blocked shots) also pitched in for the Wizards last night.  The Wizards are now 18-39 on the year.

Detroit Pistons 96, Washington Wizards 95

The Wizards outscored the Pistons 27-14 in the 4th quarter, but it wasn’t good enough to pull out a win.  Trevor Ariza led the way for the Wizards tonight with 22 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals and 1 blocked shot.  Bradley Beal (16 points, 6 rebounds, 1 assist, 3 steals and 1 blocked shot) and Emeka Okafor (15 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists) also had solid games for the Wizards tonight.  Kevin Seraphin pitched in with 12 points, 3 rebounds and 1 assist in 17 minutes off the bench tonight for the Wizards.  The Wizards are now 18-38 on the year.

The Wizards out-rebounded the Raptors 49-39 and they held them to 36.7% shooting from the floor, which explains the nice road win last night.  Bradley Beal led the way for the Wizards last night with 20 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal.  A.J. Price (12 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists in 24 minutes), Martell Webster (12 points, 3 rebounds and 1 steal), Nene’ (11 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 blocked shot) and John Wall (10 points, 5 rebounds, 7 assists and 1 steal on 3 of 11 shooting from the floor) also pitched in for the Wizards last night.  The Wizards improve to 18-37 on the season.

The Wizards shot 51.3% from the floor tonight and they outscored the Rockets 28-20 in the 4th quarter to pull out a nice home win.  Bradley Beal stayed hot as he led the way for the Wizards tonight with 21 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals and 1 blocked shot.  Trevor Ariza (18 points, 4 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals) and Emeka Okafor (17 points, 11 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 steals and 3 blocked shots) also had excellent games for the Wizards.  Martell Webster (12 points, 1 rebound and 4 assists) and John Wall (12 points, 4 rebounds, 11 assists and 1 blocked shot) also pitched in.  The Wizards improve to 17-37 on the year.

The Wizards ran the Nuggets out of the gym tonight at home.  They also hit the boards hard, outrebounding the Nuggets 49-37.  Emeka Okafor (17 points, 13 rebounds and 2 assists in 24 minutes) and Bradley Beal (17 points, 12 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocked shots) led the way for the Wizards in this game.  Trevor Ariza (16 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists in 21 minutes), Martell Webster (15 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal), Nene (14 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal and 2 blocked shots), John Wall (14 points, 1 rebound, 10 assists, 1 steal and 3 blocked shots) and A.J. Price (12 points, 1 rebound and 3 assists in 15 minutes) also had solid games for the Wizards.  The Wizards are now 16-37 on the year.
