The Wizards have brought in a lot of talent over the summer. Bradley Beal, Emeka Okafor and Trevor Ariza are going to be new starters for the Wizards in 2012-13. I would have bet on the over for sure if John Wall and Nene’ were healthy and ready to go this year. That is not the case though, so I would have to bet the under if forced to make a bet on the Wizards in 2012-13.

The Wizards were 26-56 last season so it’s not a big leap to think they can win 7 more games in 2010-11. A lot of that will depend on the health of Gilbert Arenas & Josh Howard. Unless John Wall turns into the next Derrick Rose from Day #1, I would have to bet the under with the Wizards in 2010-11. The Wizards are also 100-1 to win the NBA Championship but it would be a big waste of money to make that bet.

The bookmakers in Las Vegas saw all of the positive moves the Wizards made in the off-season and all of them were to win right now. The Wizards are going to be one of my favorite teams to watch this season because they are going to score a lot of points and give up quite a few too. I have a feeling that they are going to outscore their opponents more than half of the time so I would bet on the over with the Wizards this season even with Antwan Jamison missing some time at the start of the year.
